Atera May Release

We are proud to announce the Atera May release.

This release shines the spotlight on added support for Mac Agents, something many of you have been waiting for. The supporting cast of new features and improvements will not disappoint either, so let’s look at rest of the line-up.

The new sales list function lets you to add product and expense items to a customer ticket, doing away with all that manual admin and billing hassle.

 

The items you add will be automatically billed to the client as part of the work on the ticket, saving you masses of time.

Waiting In the wings, a host of new RMM functions are ready to take their turn in the spotlight – the Patch Search and Deploy report is a rising star we think you’ll find really useful.

  • Remote Monitoring for Mac Agents
    • Setup Remote Monitoring for Mac Agents. For more information on this feature see the KB.
  • Remote Connection for Mac
    • Using the Splashtop integration remotely connect to your monitored Mac computers
  • Threshold Profile Support
    • You can now use the Threshold Profile functionality with your customer’s Mac Agents. For more information on this feature see the KB.
  • IT Automation Support
    • You can now use the IT Automation support functionality with your customer’s Mac Agents. For more information on this feature see the KB.

RMM

 

  • Patch Search and Deploy Report
    • The Patch Search & Deploy Report generates reports based on patch KB’s and lets you install missing patches with one click. For more information on this feature see the KB.
  • Smartphone Remote Connection
    • You can now use Splashtop RMM to remotely connect to a device, using the mobile version of Atera’s WebApp via a tablet or smartphone. For more information on this feature see the KB.
  • Bash Script File Support (Mac)
    • Atera now supports running Bash script files for Mac stations both via running an ad-hoc script or by adding scripts to a Profile. Scripts can be created either by uploading an existing script, or by creating one online using the HTML editor. For more information on this feature see the KB.
  • Agent Dashboard Custom Fields
    • You can now add customized text and numerical fields to the Agent page. This is useful for capturing additional Agent related information such as a SKU, Warranty Date etc. For more information on this feature see the KB.

 

PSA

 

  • Add Products and Expenses directly within the ticket:
    • Need to bill a customer for replacement parts of technician travel expenses? Now you can do it all from within the ticket. For more information on this feature see the KB.
  • Report on Products and Expenses:
    • New custom report to keep track of all sale items added to your tickets. For more information on this feature see the KB.
  • Products and Expenses in Billing batch:
    • All sale items added will automatically appear in the next billing batch that includes that customer. For more information on this feature see the KB.
  • White Labelling and Branding
    • The look and feel of your customer facing dashboards, agents, portals and reports can be updated to strengthen your brand presence. For more information on this feature see the KB.
  • Upgraded API
