Today, we’ll introduce you to the best IT conferences in 2025, ranging from mega-conferences like Microsoft Ignite to MSP-focused conferences and our own event, Ateraverse.

The best IT conferences and events for IT professionals in 2025

Below, we’ve listed the eight must-attend IT conferences and events for 2025, in chronological order:

Gartner Security & Risk Management Summit

Date: June 9 – 11, 2025

Location: National Harbor, Maryland

Gartner Security & Risk Management Summit is a must-attend event for IT executives and CISOs who want to understand the current state of the threat landscape and how artificial intelligence (AI) presents many risks and opportunities in the field.

Many IT managers say, “This is the best conference they’ve been to.”

If you can’t make it to this one, Gartner also has the same event in London on September 22nd. 

Black Hat USA 2025

Date: Aug. 2 – 7, 2025


Location: Las Vegas, Nevada

Around two months after Gartner’s event, there is Black Hat USA, a six-day IT conference for IT security professionals, especially those focused on information security research and cybersecurity.

The event opens with four days of specialized cybersecurity training, which you can choose based on your skill level. This is followed by a two-day main conference, which consists of 100+ briefings, open-source tool demos, and networking and social events.

For those outside of the US, Black Hat also has IT conferences in Canada, the Middle East, and Europe in 2025.

Big Data LDN

Date: Sept. 24-25, 2025

Location: London, UK

For IT professionals who deal with big data, Big Data LDN (as the name suggests) is the conference to go to. It’s hosted in Olympia, London, and is a two-day combined conference and exhibition focusing on how to build data-driven businesses and make use of recent technologies, such as AI.

For the 2025 event, there are over 400 speakers across 16 threathers, which are all free to attend. The speakers range from data leaders and strategists to engineering experts, real-world pioneers, and more.

DattoCon

Date: Oct. 6-8, 2025

Location: Miami Beach, Florida

DattoCon will be held on October 6th – 8th, 2025, in Florida. It’s perfect for MSPs who want to learn about security and technical insights from experts (such as Kaseya’s CEO) and network with other MSPs in the industry. The event spans three days and will also cover Datto’s latest innovations, integrations, and efficiency tips.

Those who attend the conference will get a Kaseya-certified administrator certification. 

DattoCon is also hosted in Europe. The DattoCon Europe is taking place in Dublin from June 17 to 19, 2025.

Cisco Live

Date: Nov 10-13, 2025

Location: San Diego, California

If you’re a Cisco partner or a customer, Cisco Live is a must-attend event for learning more about Cisco’s latest technologies and cybersecurity solutions. The event brings together hundreds of IT professionals, making it a great opportunity to network.

Cisco Live will be held in two places in 2025: San Diego from June 8 to 12 and Melbourne from November 10 to 13. If you can’t attend in person, you can also follow the speeches virtually.

SpiceWorld

Date: Nov. 11-13, 2025

Location: Austin, Texas

SpiceWorld by Spiceworks is a 3-day event where IT professionals gather to celebrate IT, learn about new technologies, networking with peers and vendors. SpiceWorld’s main selling point is that attendees get practical tips and insights that can be applied directly to their work environments.

Another significant draw is that attendees have a chance to build connections with other IT professionals.

According to the organizers, the 2025 event focuses on a few key IT topics, which are:

  • AI and emerging technologies
  • Cloud and infrastructure
  • Business and leadership
  • Software services
  • Security

Microsoft Ignite

Date: Nov. 17, 2025

Location: San Francisco, California

Microsoft Ignite is Microsoft’s premier annual conference and one of the largest tech events in the world. Hosted in San Francisco, it brings together thousands of IT professionals and industry experts from around the world. 

If you want to learn more about the latest AI innovations, cloud services, and other technological advancements, it’s the place to go to. Attendees can see new products and innovations firsthand, get deep technical training, and participate in discussions that could shape the future of tech.

AWS re:Invent

Date: Dec. 1–5, 2025

Location: Las Vegas, Nevada

AWS re:Invent (by Amazon Web Services) is one of the biggest cloud events of the year and is sure to offer insights on how to fully use the AWS cloud for your and your clients’ needs. You’ll find out about new service announcements, customer and partner announcements, AI and machine learning, and customer stories.

The keynote speakers are AWS leaders, such as Matt Garman (AWS CEO), Swami Sivasubramanian (AWS Vice President of Agentic AI), and Peter DeSantis (AWS Senior Vice President of Operations).

Ateraverse 2025

Date: May 20, 2025

Location: Virtual

Ateraverse was among the best IT conferences of 2025. At Ateraverse, attendees heard from IT pioneers and global IT & security experts from Atera, OpenAI, Salesforce, Microsoft, and Check Point Software.

The event started with opening remarks from Atera’s CEO, Gil Pekelman, unveiling how Atera redefines IT with AI agents. After this, leaders like Zack Kass, the former head of GTM at OpenAI, alongside Microsoft’s Sunita Kannan, explained how AI agents are reshaping the way work is being done. 

This year at Ateraverse, the agenda included:

  • Keynote speech from Zack Kass, discussing how AI agents are reshaping the work
  • Speaks from other leaders, including Yacov Salomon (EVP engineering at Salesforce), Sunita Kannan (Global AI Strategy Lead at Microsoft), and more
  • Live reveal of Atera’s AI agents, including the new IT Autopilot

Pink25

Date: Feb. 2 – 5, 2025

Location: Las Vegas, Nevada

Pink25 was an ITSM-focused conference/exhibition held from 2 to 5 February in Bellagio, Las Vegas. The event was particularly relevant for IT directors, support managers, and support analysts who want to learn best ITSM practices, share knowledge, and connect with peers in the ITSM field.

During the three days of the event, you’ve got dozens of speakers teaching about different parts of ITSM, such as “AI and service management” and “How to select an ITSM tool.” 

The event will be held again in February 2026, and currently, there is an early bird sale going on.

XChange

Date: Mar. 2-4, 2025

Location: Orlando, Florida

The XChange was a major conference for the IT channel industry, held in Orlando, Florida. It allowed leading solution providers and technology suppliers to connect, build strategic relationships, and explore new strategies.

Some of the highlights of the event were:

  • Discovering new XaaS opportunities
  • Gaining insights into market trends and best practices
  • Connecting with other industry leaders and experts

If you’re interested in this event, it’ll also be held on October 2nd in London and again at the same time in 2026 in Orlando. 

IT Expo

Date: Feb. 11 – 14, 2025

Location: Fort Lauderdale Convention Center

IT Expo is an annual event where companies can find new vendors, network, and upgrade their skills in various IT segments. 

The event started with a keynote presentation from Ignite Tech’s CEO, Eric Vaughn, followed by other speakers. The topics related to cybersecurity strategies, using AI for operational efficiency, building a high-performing MSP team, and more.

IT Expo was held from February 11 to 14, 2025, at the Fort Lauderdale Convention Center in Florida. The next ITEXPO will be hosted from February 10 to 12, 2026. 

Kaseya Connect

Date: Apr. 28 – May 1, 2025
Location: Las Vegas, Nevada

Kaseya Connect centers around IT solutions and the strategic management of IT services. This event is ideal for IT service providers, industry leaders, and experts who want to gain strategic insights into managing IT infrastructure effectively. Kaseya’s recent product, Kaseya 365, is also highly discussed in this event.

One of the highlighted speakers for this event was Allie Miller, CEO of Open Machine, who is the most followed person in the AI business. She took on the topic of AI in modern IT, explaining the current AI landscape and introducing her 3P framework, People, Process, and Product.

Kaseya Connect will be held again from April 27 to 30, 2025, in the MGM Grand Resort in Las Vegas.

Wrapping up

If you’re still looking to attend IT conferences in 2025, now is the time to act. Most early bird sales are already gone for 2025’s events, but you can still secure spots in most of the events we listed above.

If you want to make some savings, it’s better to look at the IT conferences that will be held in 2026. This way, you can take advantage of early sales, which can drop the price by half.
