Atera is the developer of a data-based, IT automation and security platform that combines RMM, PSA, and remote access into one powerful solution, tailor-made for IT support businesses and professionals. Atera is a ‘no touch’ company, which means that support articles and product UX, have extra importance to our customers.

As a technical writer, you’ll take part in the UX design process, create in-app copy that expresses ‘Atera’s voice’, as well as the knowledge base articles that go along with it.

You’ll be part of the Atera Product Management team and work closely with product managers, designers, product analysts and fellow technical writers, to bring the product to new heights.

This is a full-time and onsite (hybrid-remote) role at our Tel-Aviv office.

You will:

  •  Create clear and concise UX copy in ‘Atera’s voice’
  • Work with product managers, product marketing, and engineers to produce and maintain world-class documentation, including: User Guides, Integration Guides, API Developer Guides, In platform documentation (tooltips, welcome instructions, etc.)
  • Translate complex technical concepts into digestible narratives intended for both a technical and non-technical audience
  • Collaborate with writers, product managers, engineers, graphic designers and product marketing to maximize the clarity, technical correctness, and visual appeal of our articles
  • Start initiatives to improve our writing processes and the way we interact with our customers



  • You are a native English speaker
  • You have a strong written and verbal communications and experience working with content in multiple mediums.
  •  Experience owning an end-to-end documentation creation process.
  •  Experience writing knowledge base articles, product manuals, how-to guides, website help sections, API documentation etc.
  • Excellent attention to details and the ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • You have a relevant advanced degree (ex. Linguistics, English literature)
  •  Successful candidates will be comfortable researching new technologies, learning how to use them, and reducing their complex workings to clear prose

Bonus points:

  • You have an experience as a technical writer
  • You have SaaS experience
  • Familiarity with the IT space
