No matter the size of your organization, antivirus software should be a key part of your security stack. In 2024 alone, 59% of organizations were hit by ransomware. While this number is slightly down from earlier years, it’s no time to lower your guard.

On Atera, you can find 25+ integrations, many of which are with antivirus software. Our antivirus integrations are ideal for enterprises that want to expand Atera’s built-in capabilities with additional tools to protect their devices and systems from malware.

In this article, we’ll look at what antivirus integrations Atera exactly has and what they can be used for. Before that, let’s learn a bit about Atera’s integrated approach to endpoint security.

Note:

Atera’s built-in endpoint management and protection features

Atera integrates with the leading antivirus software, but what about its built-in endpoint protection features?

Here’s a breakdown of Atera’s built-in endpoint management and protection features:

  • Real-time monitoring and alerting: Monitor network activity in real-time and receive alerts when any potential issues arise.
  • AI agents: Atera’s AI agents help automate mundane and repetitive tasks, eliminating 40% of your IT workload. They work alongside end-users and technicians and assist in resolving technical issues, solving tickets, generating remote session summaries, and more.
  • Network discovery: Perform network scans quarterly or monthly to detect any suspicious activity or anomalies within the network.
  • Patch management: Scan, identify, download, and deploy the latest security patches on Windows, Linux, and macOS devices. As highlighted in several Atera patch management reviews, this helps to keep your devices up-to-date and maintain a strong security posture.
  • Automatic backups: Automatically back up your endpoint data in case of a data breach or ransomware attack.
  • Password security and MFA authentication: Add a layer of protection with multi-factor authentication (MFA).

Unlike traditional IT management solutions that rely on obsolete technology, Atera enables IT to run autonomously through its AI agents. Atera IT Autopilot is there to assist end-users in self-solving IT problems, while AI Copilot takes off repetitive, mundane tasks from tech’s workload.

When combining Atera’s RMM with antivirus integrations, enterprises can proactively defend against threats while minimizing human intervention.

To try Atera’s RMM antivirus integrations, you can sign up for the available 30-day free trial or contact our sales team for a custom demo.
