Atera’s commitment to accessibility

Atera is committed to ensuring digital accessibility and inclusivity for all people, including persons with disabilities and persons using assistive technologies, on our website ( We strive to continuously improve the user experience for everyone, and to continue adhering to relevant accessibility standards. 



The website is free and open to the public. Some content, like our on-demand webinars, requires users to provide personal information such as a name and a business email address to access, but the majority of the website does not require signing up. On our website, we are continuously aiming to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 level AA, including but not limited to:

  • ALT text: Descriptive alternative text is applied to images (and images of text) throughout the website, to ensure their meaning is accurately conveyed to people who are blind or people with visual impairment. 
  • Headings: All pages are organized with clear and communicative headings so users with screen readers can navigate the website easily.
  • Links: We use descriptive link texts on our website so that the purpose and destination of each hyperlink can be easily understood from the link text. 
  • Visual design: Our pages and content can be magnified without disrupting the way the page is displayed to ensure ease of readability. 
  • Keyboard navigation: Users can navigate the website and access menus, buttons, and forms only from their keyboard, without requiring the use of a mouse.
  • “Tab” to content: Users can progress through pages by pressing the “tab” button on the keyboard, enabling them to skip repetitive elements at the top of the page and jump directly to the first interactive item.
