Because cyberattacks are happening more and more often, when people think of cybersecurity, it’s often associated with negative emotions like fear and anxiety. And these threats are becoming more sophisticated, dangerous, and expensive every single year.

But if staff in your organization feel fearful or anxious, it means that there’s an opportunity for you to help them. By becoming a cybersecurity expert and setting up a strong cybersecurity defense setup, you can keep their fears at bay.

That’s why, if you’re a cyber professional, you need to constantly be learning. That way, you’ll stay on top of the most recent developments in the cybersecurity world and not fall behind when it comes to how to protect your organization from bad actors. While for beginners, taking a cybersecurity course is a great way to educate yourself, it only goes so far.

That’s why staying up to date with the latest techniques (on both the defense and attack sides) in cybersecurity is important, and what better way to learn than by attending a cybersecurity conference?

But there are a lot of cybersecurity conferences to consider, and it can get overwhelming. That’s why today we’re going to go over the best cybersecurity conferences that you should consider attending in 2025.

Gartner Security & Risk Management Summit 2025

Gartner’s Security & Risk Management Summit had over 5,000 attendees in 2024, making it one of the largest annual gatherings of cybersecurity professionals in North America. And the 2025 conference is expected to attract 5,000 attendees again, possibly even more.

Needless to say, the Gartner Security & Risk Management Summit is a must-attend event for CISOs, security directors and architects, risk management specialists, and network and data security managers.

The world’s pre-eminent research firm, Gartner is a cyber thought leader and the ideal host for a conference that brings together the leading minds and drivers of cybersecurity. The week-long event includes workshops, roundtables, one-on-one meetings, and “Ask the Expert” sessions, alongside a wealth of networking and partner-building opportunities.

Continuing on from last year’s themes, expect to hear the latest industry trends and challenges, including AI integration in cyber, governmental organizations’ cybersecurity, operational leadership, business resilience, and more, from Gartner experts and keynote speakers.

Gartner puts this type of conference on in just about every continent, so we recommend taking a look at their website if you’re not from North America. There may just be a conference in your backyard.

RSA Conference 2025

The RSA Conference 2025 is uniting under the powerful theme of “Many Voices. One Community”. We love the cybersecurity (and IT in general) community, and love that RSA focuses so much on the community aspect.

One thing that the RSA event does exceptionally well is it provides a space for collaboration, innovation, and relationship-building around the professional cybersecurity community, in line with their theme.

The impact of the annual conference is evident when you look into who attends the RSA Conference each year. Forty percent are C-level executives, VPs or directors; 37% have more than 10 years of experience in the cyber industry, and nearly a third of attendees are authorizers of purchases in their organizations.

For comprehensive industry discussions and insights on information security, cloud security, AI and machine learning, data privacy, and more, with the unique sense of community that only RSA can provide, it’s definitely one of the current cybersecurity events to blog about and to attend.
