About the Role

We're looking for a seasoned User Acquisition Team Lead to cover a maternity leave and own our paid acquisition engine across 8+ channels. You'll step into a high-performing team of 5 and take full ownership - strategy, execution, budget, and results. If you hit the ground running and deliver, there's a real path to a permanent position once our current TL returns.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of 5 UA specialists - set priorities, unblock, review, and grow them
  • Own the full paid acquisition roadmap across Google Ads, YouTube, Bing, Reddit, LinkedIn, ChatGPT Ads, Meta, and emerging channels
  • Define channel strategy, budget allocation, and bidding approach across the full funnel
  • Drive continuous A/B testing of creatives, audiences, landing pages, and bidding strategies
  • Build and own weekly/monthly performance reporting dashboards for stakeholders
  • Manage multi-million-dollar ad budgets with a focus on CAC and MQL efficiency
  • Partner with creative, content, SEO, and web dev teams to ensure a seamless acquisition funnel
  • Identify and test new acquisition channels to diversify spend and reduce dependency
  • Implement and oversee conversion tracking, attribution models, and Google Tag Manager setups
  • Monitor competitive landscape and apply insights to campaign positioning and messaging

Requirements:

  • 5+ years managing PPC campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, and YouTube [Required]
  • Ability to lead a team of talents - managing, coaching, and developing PPC specialists [Required]
  • High analytical aptitude - fluent in data, attribution, and performance interpretation [Required]
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills - across teams and with stakeholders [Required]
  • Deep understanding of conversion tracking, GTM, and pixel implementation
  • Proficiency in Excel, Google Analytics 4, Looker Studio, or similar BI/reporting tools
  • Experience managing budgets of $500K+ per month

Nice to have:

  • Background in SaaS or B2B performance marketing
  • Familiarity with programmatic advertising and DSPs
  • Exposure to CRO methodologies and landing page optimization
  • Certifications: Google Ads, Meta Blueprint, or Microsoft Advertising
  • Experience with automation and scripting in Google Ads
  • Experience with AI-native ad placements (ChatGPT Ads, Perplexity, or similar)
